City of Stonnington is bringing on the festivities two Sundays in a row with the Family Christmas at Central Park, 148 Burke Rd, Malvern East on Sunday 11 Dec from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (pre-show entertainment and activities start at 6pm) and Carols at Como Park, 305-325 Williams Rd, South Yarra on Sunday 18 Dec from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (again, pre-show activities start at 6.30pm) as well. An annual event, they are no small celebration by any stretch of the imagination. Both concerts are super popular, jam-packed and filled with a fun night of entertainment and most importantly the Christmas spirit for the whole family. Get in early before the pre-show activities as finding parking and a good spot on the grass becomes an issue the later you come.

The event draws some big names to its stages with Rob Mills, Gillian Cosgriff, Shauntai Sherree and Mike McLeish at Central Park and Eddie Perfect, Lucy Durack, Aurora Kurth and Bert LaBonté at Como Park. Jolly children's activities, roving entertainment and Christmas carols are a given, along with food trucks, Santa of course and stunning pyrotechnics displays to conclude the carols. Find more details for each event via the give links above and get out there amongst community, warm up those vocal cords, and join in to experience these events with your loved ones. Buy up the candles, LED candles and concert programs for sale as proceeds go to the Mayor's selected charity - Very Special Kids.
