I have an interest in historic things and taking people on walks around Australia.

Chocolate Oasis On the Central Coast
Located only five minutes drive to Terrigal and Erina, you will find this amazing chocolate haven called Faith Chocolate Company. I went there for the first time recently with two friends to check it out.
Faith Chocolate Company is in the grounds of the former fragrant garden and next door to the Botanica Distillery. The gardens are very well maintained and it reminds me of an English setting from Pride & Prejudice. Being a garden lover myself I enjoyed the beautiful scenery whilst walking to the entrance of the cafe.
When you arrive at the cafe, there are plenty of seating for those who like to enjoy alfresco dining. Whilst I was in the garden I discovered a beautiful rotunda where you can get married or have a picnic in the grounds.
The cafe inside is lovely decorated with gift ware to buy and local artist paintings on the walls. There is a room at the back which has some beautiful glassware from local artists, books and CDs. It's a great place to relax, whilst having a nice tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
We all ordered an Organic Latte and tried a few samples of the Organic Belgian Chocolate. My favourite was the fruit flavoured chocolate with Strawberry & Kiwi Fruit and the White Chocolate with Sesame Seed.
Can I tell you that the hot chocolate was divine. If you love a hot chocolate, you have come to the right place. They have a variety of healthy vegan cakes/slices which is found in the counter when you first walk in on the left hand side.
You can do even do a Chocolate Making Class which sounds like lots of fun and learn the secrets of making this beautiful chocolate. There is an extensive range of chocolate blocks, bags of fruit flavoured Belgian chocolate pieces and organic drinks.
The cafe itself is located in an old mud/brick cottage which has a cascading water fall flowing over the glass into a pond. We spent a few hours at this cafe enjoying the scenery and the owner and his daughter are very friendly and make you feel welcome there.
I would highly recommend this chocolate oasis and whilst your there, pop into the Botanica Distillery and sample some of their handmade spirits and liqueurs.
