Come along dressed up in fairy gear to help win a record
Fairies - Many of us love fairies and not just children! I know I collect very old books on fairies and some of these are absolutely beautiful with delightful coloured plates.
This fair will be held on Saturday 24th August 2019 from 11.30 am to 6.00 pm, and organisers are attempting to set a new world record for the largest gathering of fairies in the one place at the one time! It will be held at the Fortune Telling Gypsy Markets, 80 Quinzeh Creek Road, Logan Village.
They have officially entered the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of fairies in one location again in 2019, and this year they hope they will win it. Wings, wands and tutus are the requirements and we need to stay in full costume for 5 minutes! An easy peasy task.....
So make sure you get out your wings, beg, borrow or steal some wands and put on those tutus! The event opens its door to the public from 11:30 am and continues to increase enchanted magic right up until 6.00 pm.
Registration to enter the Guinness World Record attempt will start from 11:30 am on the day and you will need to be in the Magic Fairy Field for official counting at 5.00 pm sharp so that you do not miss out.
This year, there will be plenty more Fairy Chill Zones for you to rest your fairy brilliance as the counting registration progresses.
You can register at this link. This will be your formal registration for entering this attemp,t so please print out your ticket and bring it along to the event. If you do not, we cannot use your entry for this competition in the official count.
There will also be some great food, much fun, quadruple the fairies and heaps of market stalls!
You will have some retail therapy at this event also in the various stalls, food, treats and sweets to stave off the hunger. There will be psychics to read your future, healers to soothe you, mermaids, pirates and unicorns to have fun with, fairy dancers, fairy romancers, fairy drama and it will all be a great deal of fun!
There will also be costume-making workshops before this event. Also if you want to help and become involved in the official count, or stalls, or volunteer or sponsorship, please get in touch with Veronica Heil 0459511444, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
This is the second time Australia is attempting to beat this particular World Record. Entry into the event is $2 with children under 5 years old being free.
