A cute new fairy garden playground has popped up at Fairway Park in Jandakot. This small park is located on Riversdale Pass, surrounded by residential houses, and makes a better photo opportunity than the actual playground.

The fairy garden set up at Fairway Park.
The "Fairy Garden" consists of a large ride-on snail, a pod cubby house, a see-saw in a large sandpit, a tunnel and toadstool table with chairs. The see-saw is the only piece of actual play equipment, however, the other pieces can inspire imaginative and creative play.
The toadstool table and chairs are the perfect size for children to sit to enjoy a snack, or there are built-in benches inside the cubby house. For adults there is one bench to sit on, however, it is off to the side of the playground and does not provide the best view if your children are on the equipment.

The toadstool table and chairs provides the perfect seating for children.

There is one bench seat available.
There is a large grass area opposite the playground for children to kick a ball or run around. There is also a path running through the middle of the park which would be suitable for riding scooters or bikes.

The grass area directly opposite the fairy garden.
There is a water fountain available, however no toilets.

The water fountain is conveniently located right next to the playground.
Verdict: Depending on the age of your children they may prefer parks with more play equipment. It may, however, be worth going just for the cute photos you will be sure to get with these unique pieces.
