The historical township of Berry NSW will come alive on Saturday 5th December for the inaugural Fairgrounds Festival. Kickstart your Summer with Australia's newest Festival located a little south of Sydney, all set amongst one of NSW's most breathtaking regions, Berry.
Music is the beating heart of the festival and for many will be the reason to come to Fairgrounds. The Festival's music line-up showcases the worlds of folk, indie rock, soul and everything in between. LA-based crooner Father John Misty will surely mist your eyes as he brings his confessional lyricism to the stage, proving why he's hailed as one of today's best songwriters.
Brooklyn electronic duo RATATAT will bring their acclaimed live show to Berry, creating an inspiring audio and visual feast of sonic exploration and production prowess.
Pop veterans Mercury Rev will be celebrating their twenty sixth anniversary with favourites from their classic catalogue and brand new songs.
Folk-Rock Singer songwriter Jessica Pratt's heartfelt guitar melodies and warm, soulful voice will captivate you with her magical melancholy-tinged songs.
All the way from San Francisco, Indie Funk outfit Unknown Mortal Orchestra will mesmerize you with their psych-soul ballads.
Representing Sydney on the bill is internationally acclaimed Garage Pop outfit, Royal Headache, plenty of rock ballards to rock along to.
The line up continues, from the Northern Territory comes C.W. Stoneking, let their rock 'n' gospel dancehall blues ignite your mojo.
These acts are just the beginning with more to be announced as the date gets closer.
Food and wine lovers have not been forgotten, your senses will be revived with delicious artisan food, an array of boutique beverages, with wines and local delicacies sourced from nearby estates. The whole family can enjoy the event, so much to do and see; an independent vinyl record market, the Sunday Berry markets and if you get there on the friday evening, you can watch outdoor movies 'Cinema Under The Stars'. A kids area has also been assigned to the festival area and is full of wonderful activities.
The whole event has been created by leading touring company, Handsome Tours, the organisers hope to fuel the imaginations of all ages making it a unique event that won't feel or taste like any other.

Early bird "Fairgrounds Founder" tickets are $110( bf) and go on sale on Thursday 20 August at www.moshtix.com.au. Kids under 12 enter the festival for free.
