The Fairfield Summer Series this year begins with a great line-up, each Sunday in February from 5pm to 7.30pm. The Fairfield Amphitheatre - Fairfield Park Drive (off Heidelberg Rd), Fairfield is where it's all happening for free. That's right, this beautiful free event is yours for the taking, so bring friends, family, a picnic rug, and relax to some of Melbourne's best music and arts.

Presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria in partnership with the City of Yarra , you'll find established and emerging local talent amongst tantalising international delicacies from the Social Studio .

Dates and themes are as follows: -

Sunday 5 Feb - Fantastic Voyage: Week 1 will take you on a Fantastic Voyage with an eclectic line-up that includes flamenco rockers, Psychedelic Eastern music and dance stylings.

Sunday 12 Feb - Station to Station: Week 2 will take you from Station to Station of the African musical diaspora. You'll be grooving to some funk and soul, and Afro beats, peppered with some local hip-hop talent and International stars showing you how to shake.

Sunday 19 Feb - Let's Dance: Week 3 Let's Dance is a dance party with some special performances, Latin heroes, Salsa workshop and more to get you going and start moving.

Sunday 26 Feb - Changes: Week 4, last but not least, Changes will show you what's been cooking up and what's happening in Melbourne's poetry scene with spoken word fusions Watch out for the resurgence of the Hula, with an interactive performance
