Play this interactive game with the family
This is an unusual event and you can attend this at the same time as you go to the amazing Mythical Markets.

Fairies and fairy items appeal to many people and not just to children. Everyone is invited to play new adventures of Faery Quest on 26th January 2019 from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm. It is being held at Ferny Creek Recreational Reserve Hall, Corner of Clarkmont and Hilton Roads, Sassafras.

Here you will be able to:

Follow the clues
Meet the characters
Solve all the puzzles
Dress the part
And if you are successful in all that, you could win the game.

This is going to be an easy, and captivating adventure game which will be played around the park and gardens of the Ferny Creek Recreation Reserve at the Mythical Markets. The game requires you to either play on your own, with a friend or you can make up a team of up to 4 players.

To begin with, all players will start together in the marshalling area. You will then be given instructions on how to play the game and shown the gameplay area. Players can then wander at their own pace to look for the characters and solve the puzzles in whatever order they wish.

Each character you find will give you a different mission to complete. Perhaps you will need to just find an item, answer a riddle, or perform an action. With these faerie folk you can never tell as they are strange and "tricksy", so you never know in advance what could happen!

The game will last a total of about 45 to 60 minutes and that is if it is done at an easy walking pace. The game will actually go on and be running for an hour and a half so that there is plenty of time for those players who are slower than others to complete as much of their game as possible.

On the day, you will be given all you need to play the game when you register and sign-up. Organisers do request that you make sure you wear hats and use sunscreen. You will also need to bring water as you may need this while wandering around and remember - it Is summer!

The Faery Quest is easy and light-hearted entertainment and although it is actually designed mostly for adults, it is also suitable and easy for ages 10 years and up. Any children younger than 10 years of age will need an older player or parent on their team to help guide them through the tasks.

You need to appoint a team captain and this person must ensure that all members of your team have arrived at the marshalling area and have signed in before the game starts at 4.00 pm.

Team - $50 per team
Single players -$16
Pair of players - $30 pair
Children under 6 years - free

When you get your tickets, these will include free entry to the Mythical Markets!

When you are registering, you will need to show a printed or digital version of your tickets. Bookings can be made here

If you buy your tickets on the day as against the above online link, the cost will be $20 per player and this will have to be cash only.

There are NO ATMs at the venue, so make sure you bring plenty of cash and also to buy some of the magical and unusual items at the Mythical Markets.

Ferny Creek is a small town on the top ridge of the mountains, so parking is very limited! If you are driving, you need to allow plenty of time to find street parking if the carpark is full. Carpooling is a good idea for this event, and below is a map of the area.

Buses go past once an hour, just one block from the venue.
