is located in Tuggeranong, 20kms south of the CBD. The suburb of Fadden is well known to families for its popular Fadden Pines Playground , however if you like a smaller park to yourself, Fadden Hills playground is worth tracking down afterwards.

When we first found this park we found three interesting features. The first was discovering that the only way up to the slide was to climb up an extensive net climbing frame - the perfect park for a little climber!

The second surprise was that the large fort that you can see from a distance is actually closed. You can't climb up this impressive fort, much to the disappointment of our daughter.

However, you can have a spin on the toys below it...

The third surprise was the pleasant pond area beyond the playground. There is a short walk around the pond, perfect for a walk with the pram or for little legs to walk. We discovered several ducks having a snooze under trees and a cormorant sunbaking on a rock drying out his wings.

is a quiet play stop if you are in the local area, or after you have checked out Fadden Pines playground nearby. If your kids love to climb, this playground will keep them entertained for a long time before wandering over to explore the pond afterwards.
If decide to visit the pond, ensure you take some bread with you for the hungry ducks. Once they spot you, several more then come out of their hiding spots in the reeds in search of a tasty snack...
