The Factory Antique Market in Dromana is an original idea for selling old wares. Situated alongside the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, opposite Dromana Drive-In, in a two building double story complex, the market features a compilation of more than 25 stall holders. It has collectables, antiques, jewellery, vintage, retro, furniture and even a Blokes shed and a cafe.

Proprietor George Amanatidis opened the Dromana antique market two years ago, offering stall holders and collectors alike the opportunity to indulge in their market hobby 7 days a week.

You could spend a few hours perusing both buildings. With upstairs and downstairs full of every collectable artefact imaginable - including vintage clothing, antique radios, dolls, books, crockery and tapestries.

While you are there, you can even get a cuppa, a quick bite to eat and relax while you decide what to buy.

There is onsite parking, amenities and outdoor seating.

Factory Antique Market is open every day from 9.30am to 4.45pm; now you don't need to wait for the weekend markets to roll around to go antiquing.

Your Comment
Very, very, very disappointed. I travelled over an hour from Surrey Hills on this recommendation to look at a pile of poorly presented overpriced rubbish!
I could have looked at better 5 mins from home. First time I have taken Weekend notes recommendation, perhaps the last. Come on Fiona, we should be able to come up with something better than this. Regretfully, Shaun

I am sorry you feel that way Shaun. I am afraid I also feel compelled to say that I believe your comment is a deliberate stab at this establishment. With over 20 odd market holders, multiple rooms spread across two double story buildings I just cannot understand where you have come to the conclusion that it is a "pile of poorly presented rubbish". It just isn't, this place is huge with a wide range of goods, well spread out and from ranging genres.I was personally very impressed. Check it our for yourselves people!!!!
