September 10 is a big day in Willunga. There is the Farmers' Market, the Quarry Market, and the Fabulous Old Fire Engines hosted at the Willunga Courthouse by the National Trust.
Some of South Australia's oldest fire engines will be on display. The Fire Services have a special place in the hearts of South Australians. Learn more about the Fire Services through the vehicles and the memorabilia of the past heroes who helped keep us safe.
In the 1950s, to public consternation, the Fire Brigades Board bought a new vehicle for the Fire Chief -- a Jaguar XK120 Roadster! See this controversial vehicle, beautifully restored by the current owners, the Loffler family.
Also on show are displays of vintage weapons and old tools. Enjoy the sausage sizzle!
