All kids out there, get on board with EYECON!

EYECON is a gaming weekend with a kids program.

Kids get to create a role playing game with other children with facilitators. They create their character, its name, race, (can be mystical) brains, magic, body and defence.

Then they choose three things the character does well and things they carry in their imaginary bag (to use in the game).

They interact with other children creating their own game with dialogue, actions and story.

This year's theme was "Eik! Stop! Thief!"

Some are quite familiar with gaming, others are first timers.
Regardless of proficiency, they all get into the characters quite quickly and begin playing and weaving their story telling.

There were plenty of laughter and squeals coming from the room.
I can guarantee they were having fun!
