Skate On Down
The centre opened in 1985 as the Bundaberg Skating Rink, built and run by the Zeeman family, and has built itself up over the years to a modernized rink for social skaters of all generations.

[ADVERT]With a name change to Extreme Zone - Skate Centre and Amusement Arcade, the centre offers great family entertainment as well as all the physical benefits that skating offers.

Boasting a great lightshow at their skate discos every Friday and Saturday night and a computerized sound system with 5000 songs along with heaps of games and give-a-ways in each session, this is the perfect and most affordable family entertainment in town.

With a Learn To Skate program on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 that uses the skate star program, and general skate session on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:30 (open at this time every day on school holidays) as well as hosting birthday parties on request, there is something for everyone and all skill levels are welcome.

The skate shop located in the centre can also hook you up with all your skate needs, either hiring them out or selling them, including skates, roller blades, socks, bolts and axles, bearings, boots and shoes, speed skates, protective gear, and all roller derby equipment.

Speaking of roller derby, the Rum City Roller girls train at Extreme Zone on Sunday mornings and if you're interested in the sport you can enquire at the counter and meet some of the team.

Admission charges are advertised on the website and any further enquiries the team at Extreme Zone are more than happy to answer.

Be sure to skate on down and check it out.
