I enjoy writing to give other people pleasure. I love traveling, eating out, finding fabulous cultural events at home and afar. I hope you'll like and try some of my discoveries, and favourite places and experiences.
Event:
@ Jane St Community Garden
Does the idea of spending a warm Saturday afternoon in a sunny garden, learning about what is growing in our bush and what we can use it for appeal to you? If so, why not come along to the next Jane St. Community Garden workshop at West End, facilitated by Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery on 16 Jun 18, Exploring Bushfoods with Witjuti Grub Bushfoods Nursery.

Aboriginal Australians have relied on bush tucker from native plants for thousands of years as part of their staple diet. The rest of us have been growing an interest in learning about and trying these foods over recent years. Have you tried finger limes, davidson's plums, wild tamarind, lemon myrtle or sweet native raspberries? Veronica from Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery will be sharing her vast knowledge and experience, teaching us how to create a Bushfood garden, so we can grow and enjoy these native foods.
