Virginia Home and Garden (99 Gawler Road, Virginia 5120 SA) is a fantastic place to visit because It offers so much. Virginia Home and Garden is one of Australia's biggest garden centres, including an indoor and outdoor garden centre, a homewares shop and a cafe.
Theres plenty of water features to look at all displayed beautifully.
The garden centre is set up beautifully with greenery and statues filling the area. It's easy to find what you need with clearly labelled sections. The garden centre offers a great range of indoor and outdoor plants, pots and water features.
In the middle of the garden centre, you will find Stella's. This shop stocks beautiful luxury homewares, gifts and home decor items. Once you have finished browsing through the garden centre and Stella's, you can stop at Donchos cafe for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant is spacious and inviting, offering a fantastic range of meals and drinks which you can enjoy in the padded booths.
Do you hate when you go to a restaurant and the booths are taken? Not here!

If you have kids, there are also two great parks to visit in Virginia for a lot of outdoor fun. The first is located next to the oval on Old Port Wakefield Road. This playground includes a wide variety of play equipment and a basketball hoop. The oval is great too if you have some older kids who might like to enjoy playing with a ball.
For the adults, if you're feeling a bit active, there is is adult exercise equipment to do those sit-ups and arm weights you've been meaning to get around to.
The second park is located in the new Virginia grove area located at the end of Sheedy road. This landscaped reserve includes in-ground trampolines, a slide, monkey bars and a large grassed area for kicking the footy or other activities. There is also shaded seated benches for parents to enjoy a chat or to bring your own picnic food to enjoy for lunch.
Hours of fun at this new playground in Virginia Grove
In this new area in Virginia, there is also a big and modern display village showcasing homes from Adelaide's biggest builders including Rossdale, Sterling, Statesman Homes, Hickinbotham, Fairmont Homes and Format. I love walking through display homes and wondering why my home doesn't look as spectacular as the interiors of the display village homes. My favourites are the two Format homes on the right as soon as you enter the display village, these homes are amazing!
