When you jump on board a snazzy little red speedboat for an Explore Sydney Harbour tour, get ready for a unique adventure. Not only will you see all the main attractions from a totally new perspective, but you'll get right up close to some of Sydney Harbour's best-kept secrets. And the best part is that YOU get to drive!

You don't need boating experience. You won't even need a boating licence. Within a very short time, you'll be driving like a pro. Each boat can hold 2 people. You'll be provided with gear to keep you dry. And because each group tour has a maximum of 3 boats, you can be assured of a very personal experience. You'll be in safe hands, too, with your knowledgeable and highly-experienced guide to lead you all the way.

The tough choice is which tour to choose. Each starts with a boat safety and operation briefing session, which is included in the tour time. The Grand Tour is around 3 hours and the Highlights Tour is about 2 hours. All tours start from Rose Bay.

The Grand Tour is well named. Not only will you experience all the main highlights of the harbour the bridge, the Sydney Opera House and Luna Park, but you'll see Hermit Bay, Shark Island and explore the beaches of Athol Bay, Taronga and beautiful Mosman Bay.

On to the Governor's house with views of the city and even more of the Opera House. You'll marvel as you drive within metres of the ships in the Australian Maritime Museum. Then its neck-craning wonderment with the huge vessels at the Garden Island Navy Base towering over your boat.

And just when you thought you'd seen it all, you'll take in some of the most prestigious and enviable properties on the harbour at Double Bay, Point Piper and Rose Bay grand indeed.

The Highlights Tour includes the main highlights of the Grand Tour, but you won't see Darling Harbour, Double Bay and Goat Island.

Sydney Harbour is one of the loveliest harbours in the world. See it from a whole new perspective as you captain your own boat on an exhilarating and unforgettable tour with Explore Sydney Harbour.

Pricing:

Grand Tour - $249 for 2 people (that's just $124.50 per person)

Highlights Tour - $158 for 2 people (only $79 per person)
