When you first arrive at this picturesque township you will be transported from the hustle and bustle of today to a calm and tranquil lifestyle of an earlier time in our nations history.

A gentle stroll along the main street of the town will take you past many doors offering the widest variety of old wares to boutique clothing shops. The kids won't let you walk out of Miss Lily's Lolly Shop without trying the large assortment of sweets.

[ADVERT]For those seeking that special scent you can't go past Morpeth Specialty Oils. Even us romantics can't but idle in the Teddy Bear Shop.

After a refreshing counter lunch at one of the three hotels, or a quick snack break at any of the smaller take away outlets, end your day learning about the history of our first river port while being entertained by Juliette the Clydesdale and her owner on a horse and buggy ride.
