Held in The Cabinet room, upstairs at La Boheme, this intimate performance consists of one man, Jden Redden, a mysterious book printed in 1902, 4 or 5 decks of cards and an audience of around 30 seated around a casino style card table.
One for fans of card tricks, poker, and the mysteries of gambling, in The Expert At The Card Table Jden takes the book of the same name, printed anonymously over 100 years ago, and showcases his card skills, letting the audience in on some of the tricks along the way.
Jden is skilled in his handling of cards and draws plenty of oohs and ahhs from the crowd whilst at the same time taking you on a journey with stories from some of the greatest card sharks over time. Jden finishes his show with a card trick that is purely mind boggling, involving multiple people from the audience and baffling everyone in the room.
If you've spent some time around the card table yourself, or simply like the wonder of card tricks, get along to see this show.
The Expert At The Card Table is on at La Boheme Wednesdasy to Sundays until March 18th for the Adelaide Fringe.
