PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MAJOR SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW

Their world comes to an abrupt end when five friends cross paths with a creature far beyond their imagination and power.

It's a case of an adventure trip gone wrong. Two brothers, Matt ( Samuel Davis ) and Brian ( Chris Osborn ), defy their uncle's warning about going to his lake side cabin far away in woods and plan a secret trip with their three other friends in Texas. The film begins on a fun note but soon takes a dangerous turn when an unseen undefined creature "Sasquatch" is unintentionally hurt by them in the dark night somewhere in the woods.

Brian is a camera freak guy who loves making videos and while slyly capturing some fun and some intimate moments between his friends he stumbles upon some cues of existence of a Sasquatch.

Then begins multiple sessions of ear shattering and blood spewing scenes when the five friends make desperate attempts to save themselves from their blood thirsty mysterious creature.
It's difficult to say if the film has any background score as the continuous howling of Sasquatch and screaming of five friends drowns every other sound. Do not blame yourself if while watching the film you feel like shutting your ears in between (oops!).

Most of the film is shown through the videos shot by Brian so the scenes are often shaky and confusing. As the film progresses all the characters are shown running helter-skelter while the image of Sasquatch also begins to appear clearer. It's a giant half-human and half-ape like hairy creature which runs faster than the cars and is smarter than human beings. Amidst multiple gun shots, house wreckage and the terror of Sasquatch Matt decides to step out for help by going into a mobile network area.

While all this is happening the four friends at the cabin make desperate attempts to save themselves from the wrath of this phantom creature and in the bargain Todd's (Roger Edwards) girlfriend Elizabeth (Denise) dies.

The movie slowly slips into chaotic game of chase, escapes and who-will-kill-whom-first. Barring couple of scenes where Sasquatch suddenly appears from nowhere there's not much horror element in this movie.

The film ends with four out of five friends dead and the Sasquatch agreeing to leave the fifth friend alive after he says "sorry" for hurting the partner of Sasquatch in the beginning of the film. So while the whole world argues about if Bigfoot exists or not, this movie kind of answers that question for you.

Overall Verdict: The film loosely manages to hold the attention of the viewers however it often slips into madness of hand held camera shooting, things being thrown away and earth shattering noises. You will like this movie if you are fan of big-foot theory. For rest of you this may be just a one-time watch movie.
