Exercise is a vital part of keeping healthy as we all know. Not just adults should exercise, kids should join in too. Here are some fun ways to keep yourself and your kids active with you!
Bike Riding Together There is something so fun about going bike riding with your family or friends. You can ride side by side and chat with one another, explore new places or go up hills and down them which is really exhilarating!
If you have a trampoline, make good use out of it and play bouncing games with the kids on it. Our family favourite is dodgeball, where one person is on the ground and rolls the ball to the other side and the person jumping needs to try and dodge it. It is so much fun and a lot of bouncing involved.
Chasie Chasie is a fun game to play with all children outside. One person is the tagger and needs to run around and tap someone on the shoulder and then they are the tagger. The aim of the game is to run away from the tagger and be free from being the tagger. It's a childhood favourite and certainly makes the heart beat faster!
Dancing Put on an upbeat CD or playlist on your phone and dance with the kids. This is a lot of fun and best done on a Friday night when you have something to celebrate - the end of the week! You can incorporate fun games into it too like musical statues or musical chairs. Youtube has some fantastic dance playlists you can stream for free. Just make sure the lyrics are clean!
