A new addition to the blossoming world of Ebenezer Place comes Exchange Specialty Coffee, simple and sleek this café is straight to the point. With floor to ceiling windows that allow you to people watch and outside seating this is the perfect summer spot for an iced latte or specialty tea.

Exchange has split their love of coffee down the middle. One side of the bar is dedicated to serving Market Lane's seasonal espresso all the way from Melbourne as well as an always-changing guest espresso. The other end is all about filter coffee and there you can ask them all you want to know about their daily single origin.

The menu, like the décor, is fairly basic but offers a range of healthy local produce to accompany their coffee as well as a selection of pastries offered at the bar. We ordered the porridge with pumpkin seeds, honey and banana as well as avocado with dukkah and balsamic roasted tomatoes on sourdough toast. Both were very light and a nice alternative to the usual bacon and eggs seen on most breakfast menus.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the space is light and airy. The coffee was pretty amazing, as you would expect, I ordered an Iced Latte as it was a surprisingly hot day and the quality of the flavour remained expertly intact.

is the place to go when you want a quick, healthy breakfast and a great coffee to start your day. They also do a range of sandwiches for lunch, eat-in or take away, and are truly passionate about the coffee that they have to offer so why not pop in and have a chat.
