Kicking off at 9.00am on Saturday 4 June, 2016 at theBriswest Centre, 132 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington the markets, entertainment and food will keep you focused on the important things in life until it closes down at 3.00pm
You can start shopping even before you get inside the hall with loads of goodies weighing down a vast array of tables operating al fresco on the footpath. Then, once you've shopped your way through the outside, entry into the main arena is FREE.
Once inside, the shopping adventure continues apace. All manner of treasures are available throughout the entire market place. You never know what you might find among such a huge nest of tables (Did you know 'nest' is the collective noun for tables? Me neither; I had to look it up). You'll have a chance to find all those special somethings you've always wanted whether you knew you wanted them or not. Why not give yourself a wonderful surprise by discovering that absolute 'must-have' collectable you see for the very first time on the day? And, as any experienced 'thrifter' knows, get there early or all the 'good stuff' will be gone.
Shopping can be a very strenuous activity so to keep your strength up the organisers will be providing titillation for your olfactory and taste indigence with a full-on sausage sizzle and a café selling homemade goods and refreshing coffee and other drinks. You are going to need a rest during six hours of thrifting so be prepared to exchange your fashion tastes for your culinary tastes. There'll be just as much food as fashion to satisfy your needs.
Those who long to be that bit more exotic can get a complete henna fix from Henna by Sadia. Applying henna is a popular form of expression for luck and happiness and its application can be a poignant and communicative occurrence for opening a spiritual link through which remarkably good phenomena will enter your life. Sadia will be at the Markets all day creating gorgeous designs with prices starting from as little as $5. Where else can you have an uplifting spiritual experience for so little?
As an added extra there is also going to be some fine busking to add to your shopping pleasure.
Make sure you have the 4 June, 2016 in your diary and come along and grab yourself bags full of bargains.
