Gypsy Jazz, or Jazz Manouche is a style of music originally forged in Paris by Django Reinhardt and Stefan Grappelli in the mid-twentieth century. Here in Australia, the local adaptation is commonly known as, OzManouche.

Ewan MacKenzie and Swing Dynamique, inspired by Reinhardt and Grapelli, have firmly anchored themselves in the Jazz Manouche genre. The Band supports the OzManouche style through their locally crafted repertoire of intricate and exciting self-penned tunes which, during this show, they will intersperse with classics of the genre.

Here is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience the authentic Jazz Manouche sound and witness the interplay of guitarist Ewan MacKenzie, violinist Jan Van Dijk and clarinetist Dan Cosgrove. This truly dynamic display of virtuosity will astonish you and lay down a sound to delight your senses.
