Breakfast in the Altro Club Café in Nambour RSL is a nice and pleasant experience.
The Altro Café has an inviting setting and a cosy atmosphere. It is well-lit and clean, the order counter is low-set and is manned by friendly staff. The kitchen beyond is open and visible so that one can watch the chefs prepare the food from where one is sitting. There are yummy-looking pastries and cakes in the display cabinet but my favourite touch is the back wall shelving, with its different potted herbs.
I ordered the 'everything' breakfast. It was presented with eggs on top, blanched spinach, bacon, and then hash browns in the bottom. It was also served with mushrooms, tomatoes, sausages, and foccacia bread. It was very nice. I like hash brown and bacon browned and crispy and I would have preferred for them to be served on the side. Having them under the spinach made them turn a bit soggy. The foccacia bread was an excellent variation to the toast and the spinach gave it a healthy twist.
There is a good collection of tea and coffee. My soyaccino was quite good and tasted better than some of the coffees I have had from some popular coffee places. On the whole, breakfasting in Altro Club Café was a good start to my day.
