Everyone's Talking About Mindfulness is an introductory workshop presented by experienced mindfulness instructor Dr Sharn Rocco.
Held on Saturday 20th August, 1.30pm to 4pm at South Brisbane Sailing Club, this unique half-day workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of what mindfulness is, why it's getting so much press and how you can practice mindfulness in daily life.
The workshop is designed for anyone who is curious about mindfulness and wanting to clarify their understanding. About the Facilitator
Dr Sharn Rocco is an early childhood educator, meditation and mindfulness practitioner, teacher, teacher educator, parent and grandparent. She is passion about supporting people of all ages to live life with compassion and wholeheartedness, to feel connected, confident and competent. Sharn has twice been scholar-in-residence for the Garrison Institute NY and has taught mindfulness courses and led daylong and weekend retreats in various locations in NSW and Queensland as well as in New York, Ubud and Oslo.
