Every parent knows how hard it can be to find some good, clean, family fun that's also free. That's why it's so wonderful to find some right in the heart of Brisbane's colourful and vibrant West End.

[i]Where the Wild Things Are[/i] will play host on Saturday 17th September to the book launch for [i]Everyday Superhero[/i]. The author and illustrator of the book, Anna Yum will be in attendance from 3pm to read the exciting tale to the kids, after which there will be a creative craft activity to enjoy. It's all for free, you just need to register in advance to avoid missing out.



Anna Yum has combined her skills a teacher, an artist, a mother and a children's author to create a story kids are sure to love in [i]Everyday Superhero[/i]. She has used mixed media like collage, fabric and watercolour to create humorous illustrations to support the narrative.

Ms Yum says, "The children's book, [i]Everyday Superhero[/i], was created for and inspired by all the kids out there who need to feel super with who they are."
