Looking for a reason to celebrate - look no further!

I have compiled a collection of some of the most bizarre and strangest events and special days for you to celebrate along with a few of the regular ones.

Many of these are American celebrations (what's up with that, why do they have so many strange events to celebrate?). However, so was Halloween and that has somehow crept into the Australian culture. Perhaps some of these will too.

I have done my best to find something for you to celebrate on almost every day. So, whether you just want to celebrate the National German Chocolate Cake Day to give you a reason to eat more chocolate, or you are seriously wanting to understand other cultures, hopefully this list will assist you to find something on most days.

This calendar of events is valid for 2013, although most events will still be applicable on future years also.
