First up is the
Extraordinary Car Exhibition on
Saturday 14 September from 5-10pm. Here you'll find a curated selection of some of Australia's finest builds. Coupled by lighting displays, witness the Australian car scene in a new light wit the help of an incredible production team. However, this is more than an automotive display event. There'll be featured vendors showcasing their products and services; a selection of arcade games from past and present; food and drink from around the world; access to the
Pirates Tavern bar; tunes by Melbourne's own ON3 Studio; and you can be the first to access CH. V Capsule featuring a vast range of clothing and accessories.
Sat 5 Oct 2-10pm - ATAI Bathukamma Festival - This is a Hindu flower-festival celebrated by the women of Telangana and some parts of Andhra Pradesh. The colourful festival welcomes everyone at this free community event so come along and be amazed by the blooms on display.
Sat 12 Oct 12pm-10pm - Out on the Weekend - Melbourne’s favourite Americana, alt country, country and western lifestyle music festival is celebrating 10 years of good times at Seaworks. Excellent music, mind-blowing international and local Artists and a fantastic voyage of songs, stories, and BBQ by the water. There are special ferry packages available, as well as excellent bus packages from some of Melbourne’s finest breweries to make the journey even easier.
Sat 26 Oct 9am-4pm - Williamstown Highland Celtic Gathering - It's a day of dancing, pipe bands, heavy events, folk music tent, displays, clans and stalls. This is a family favourite with a difference, so come along and kick your heels up. Kilts optional.
Sat 9-Sun 10 Nov 10am-4pm - The Makers & Shakers Market - With a curated lineup of 110 handmade stalls including homewares, slow fashion, food and drink, along with low cost workshops and DJs, this is a market that has everything. Best of all, this market has proudly decided to become an event partner of the official Australia Made Campaign, so you can be assured you're shopping homegrown and supporting our local makers and shakers. Remember Christmas is around the corner, and with a bumper lineup of stallholders, get your loved ones something unique and Australian made.
Sun 17 Nov 11am-5pm - Vegan Market - An event that's guilt free and kind to the planet, shop from local plant-based businesses. There'll be lots of brands to explore, especially if you're not familiar and are just sauntering into the vegan lifestyle. From vegan cacao to the best vegan chocolate, ice cream and much more, like cool vegan DJs and vegan speakers, there's plenty to spark your interest and keep you engaged. If you're a vegan stallholder, they're looking for you .
Sat 30 Nov 12-7pm - Williamstown Beer and Cider Festival - Do you really need to be tempted to a day of fun, great company and delicious brews? With live music all day, filled with a lineup of bands and contestants from The Voice - this is going to be the biggest lineup to date. Showcasing more than 100 beers and ciders from over 20 independent breweries and cideries and a stack of entertainment and free activities for kids, this is a day of good times on tap that has something for everyone.
Sat 7 Dec 11am-9pm - Jamaican Music & Food Festival - The ultimate Jamaican experience to see the year out, it's going to be legendary. For a start there's going to be incredible music, so get ready to groove to the beats of reggae, dub, rocksteady, and dancehall. It's going to be a lineup that'll keep you dancing all day long. From jerk chicken and vegan dishes that’ll make your taste buds tingle, to mouth-watering patties, food vendors are bringing the flavours of Jamaica right to your plate. It’s a food lover’s paradise! The marketplace will be filled with authentic Jamaican vendors and will have handcrafted treasures and unique souvenirs, so support your local artisans and take home a piece of Jamaica.
