Enjoy Some Free Family Fun At The Bert Wright Park
Now that Autumn has officially arrived, it's time for us to recover from the heat stress of the last few months and emerge from our air-conditioned sanctuaries to enjoy the many exciting events which will be happening throughout the city. One such event is Evening in the Park, a free family-friendly mini-festival organised by the City of Bayswater Library Service which is being held at the Bert Wright Park on King William Street in Bayswater on Friday, 15th March.
Beginning at 6.00pm and continuing until around 9.00pm, it promises to be a fun night with a wide variety of entertainment and activities to keep visitors of all ages happy. The evening's free entertainment will include Eco Fairie Cara, who will lovingly share her environmental wisdom, the Scitech team with lots of bubble fun, balloon artist Sparkles and Clare Stace, a gifted fortune teller. There will also be face painting, laser tag, Old MacDonald's travelling farm, fire engine fun and lots more. In addition, the Bayswater Library will be open until 9.00pm, so be sure to borrow a few good books, magazines or CDs to take home with you.
In a nutshell, Evening in the Park promises to be a great family event, so pack a picnic and head down to the Bert Wright Park on March the 15th to enjoy all the fun and festivities.
