There's nothing daggy about breaking out the platform shoes, wearing a tinfoil hat and bursting into a classic Abba favourite when you are in the company of other Eurovision devotees. Paint on your glitter eyeshadow and shake off the flares and come celebrate your favourite International song contest in true inter-continental style at The Food Truck Park in Preston this May.

Food trucks on site will represent the countries of the world with their culinary array, offering food from places as diverse as Italy, Austria, Spain and plenty more. Cheer along your favourite act while watching Eurovision and enjoying some delicious food from their represented country at The Food Truck Park on the weekend of Friday 13th May to Sunday 15th May 2016.

This month, The also includes the bimonthly Jumble Sale on Sunday 15th May from midday. Rummage through some other people's unwanted things and see if you find some treasure.



Dancing Queens should feel right at home at The Food Truck Park in Preston. Established on a former car yard and warehouse site, Food Truck Park exudes a 'block party' atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating and the ever-changing selection of food truck meals. Established to support and help grow the mobile food industry, Food Truck Park has been so successful, offering much more than your average street fare, it is now a regular haunt for many locals, as well as attracting plenty of curious visitors each and every week.

The Food Truck Park is fully licensed, with Barry's Bar serving craft beer and cider on tap alongside wine and pre-mixed spirits. There are also function spaces available, catering for everything from private to corporate events for something a little different.

An edgy and vibrant food haven for one of the fastest growing food trends in Melbourne, Food Truck Park is open Friday nights from 5pm – 10pm, Saturdays from 12noon to 10pm and Sundays from 12noon – 9pm, catering for lunch right through to dinner then supper afterwards.



The Food Truck Park is located at 518 High Street, Preston and is managed by the Australian Mobile Food Vendors Group (AMFVG). Everyone, of all ages, is welcome at The Food Truck Park and entry is free.

There is ample street parking along High, Wood and Youngman Streets. If you're catching public transport, take the 86 tram from Melbourne CBD to Wood Street/Plenty Road then walk 10 minutes up Wood Street. For train travellers, head North of the city toward South Morang, and jump off at Preston Station. Take a left onto Clinch Avenue, the right onto Murray Road then left again onto High Street, Preston.
