If you are European and you are feeling nostalgic about your home country or if you are from anywhere else and want to try dishes from the old continent, head to one of these great European establishments in Sydney.

Spanish Food - The most popular Spanish dish is tapas - little dishes with different seafood, omelettes and more. The best in town, according to the Spaniards living in the city is La Bodega, in Surry Hills, where you'll have the chance to try a huge range of tapas dishes.

German Food - If you are one of those people who think that Germans eat only bratwurst, then you should go and eat in Essen (which literally means "eat" in german). A part from the food, you'll have the chance to try some of the best beers, directly imported from Germany to this little Broadway restaurant.

French Pastry - French food is based on cheese, wine and other delicatessen items, like foie gras. However, French pastry is well known to be even better that all those products. Two of the most popular desserts; Gāteau St. Honoré and the stylish Macarons can be found in La Renaissance, one of the finest patisseries in town.

Italian Food - Nothing better to celebrate something or have a date around a good dish of pasta and a glass of wine. To do this, you might want to eat to Mamma Mia Upstairs Restaurant, in Newtown. There you'll get the feel of the old Italy, with yummy lasagnas with lots of mozzarella.
