The Madame Brussels Lane European Night Market is back! This very popular Friday night market is the perfect end to the working week, whether you're catching up for after work drinks, indulging in some retail therapy or just after something delicious to eat.
This atmospheric and often quirky European styled market is only running for a few short weeks, from Friday 22nd July to Friday 12th August. Patrons are encouraged to embrace the 'magic of winter' by enjoying mulled wine, German sausages or freshly baked pretzels in an environment inspired by the classic night markets in Manchester (UK) and other countries suck as Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Whether you're just after a coffee, something to eat, an after work drink or some retail therapy, the European Night Market, situated in Madame Brussels Lane, is the perfect venue. Invite your work colleagues or arrange to meet some friends then indulge in one of the many European styled sweet treats on offer.
In addition to some new stalls, there will also be many favourite stalls returning again this year. Included in the selection are freshly baked German pretzels from Bretzel Biz, Polish dumplings from Eastern Bloc, flammkuchen from Frieda's, melting fondue cheese from Frencheese, crème brulee from The Brulee Cart, French crepes from Les Crepes de Marion, praline almonds and macadamias from Chooh La La and Greek donuts from St Gerry's.
Of course, it wouldn't be a true European styled event without a selection of accompanying alcoholic beverages. Situate yourself in the German beer garden at The Fringe for an ale and bratwurst. Shake off the winter cold with a warm Italian aperitivo at Babbo or feast on Turkish gozleme from Goz City.
Not only will the air be rich with the scents of Europe, you can enjoy the sounds as well. Live musical entertainment will feature from 5pm through to 10pm for that added touch of atmosphere.
You will find the Madame Brussels Lane European Night Market at 50 Lonsdale Street (Corner Spring Street), Melbourne from Friday 22nd July to Friday 12th August 2016. The market will be operating between the hours of 5pm to 11pm.
