Have you ever wanted to pack up and just head off to explore Europe? These are the stories of those who have and have returned with the battle scars to prove it. Was the grass greener on the other side of the world? Well, this show isn't a linear tale so that answer isn't so clear.
Each character tells of their own trails and trials through short snippets, sometimes breaking the fourth wall, sometimes in song. We laugh along with their mishaps and missteps as they each explore Europe and discover themselves. This show is fast-paced and funny which Hannah Grace Fulton, Tasha O'Brien, Caity Booth, Alicia Dulnuan-Demou and Kimberley Greaves artfully handle. The set looks basic but is creatively and well used by the performers and conveys the grungy backpacker feel of the play.
With all it's ups and downs (and laughs), fellow travellers will empathise with the losses that are needed when finding yourself on the road in this modern age. The General Public Theatre had a sellout season with this show at the Sydney Fringe, so be quick to catch them at the German Club.
