is located along Euroka Street in Waverton at lower north shore area, approximately 500m from the train station. It's only about 6 mins walk along Railway Parade.

The walk to Euroka street itself is a pleasant one. You will pass by Wakelin Reserve along the way which overlooks city skyline. The reserve was named after Roland Wakelin who was one of the founders of modern art movement in Australia. Born in 1887 in New Zealand, he died in Australia in 1970.


Along Railway Parade, you can see railway tracks and a mural of Waverton painted on the other side of the tracks.



Euroka Street is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It is mostly residential area for families. The name of the street was apparently derived from the Aboriginal word which means 'sunny corner'. Though the park does get a lot of sun, it is surrounded by big trees which provide shades to the park and the playground area. It is no doubt a small playground but quite well-equipped. However, they seem to be more appropriate for older kids and not for toddlers. Dogs are permitted in the park but with restriction. There are also some seats and a picnic table for visitors to use.



The playground incorporates many fitness and strength exercise activities, featuring monkey bars, vertical wall climbing and rope climbing. It is ideal for active kids to release their energy.



There are also traditional play equipments such as slide, spinner and spring-mounted skateboard. Children can also play handball game on the rubber surfaced handball court.







While the children are busy playing, adults can also exercise by using some of the featured fitness equipments which include a stepper and standup swing.



In conclusion, it is a nice little park/playground area for both adults and primarily for kids to hangout and play.
