Shoppers and foodies beware the Eumundi markets will have you spending up large.

The origins to the markets go back some decades and those from far and wide come to sell their wares and delicacies.

Our team of 8 ventured there on a winter Saturday morning in perfect time for the winter crop of fresh strawberries and passion fruit! Woahhhhh, the quality of the fruit and vegetables was delicious - we only wish we could have taken more back with us or gobbled them up.

We tried traditional tempeh, Dutch mini pancakes, potatoes on a stick- half with chicken salt and half plain salt, Tibetan (vegan) moms- served complete with tofu, veggies, soy and sweet chilli, devious Queensland mango nectar and scrumptious Thai curry!

Once you've filled your tummy and need a gift for any little humans -aka if you are looking for kiddie toys, the grannies, charities and creative types have so many options ready for purchasing. Whatever your child or your toy preference, there is surely something to meet every child's delight.
