Come up to Eudlo and enjoy a cruise around the scenic roads of the Sunshine Coast's hinterland. While you're there enjoy the first ever Eudlo Car and Motorcycle Show at the Eudlo State School Oval, Rosebed Street, Eudlo with gates open from 9.00am until 2.00pm on Saturday, 13 June, 2015.
Entry to the Show is by GOLD COIN.
For those lucky enough to have a car or motorcycle to put on display and become a part of the fun all you have to do is register your mechanical art work by PM here or email email@example.com. Send in your name, phone contacts, email address, vehicle details and a picture of the vehicle you want entered. Registering a car costs $10 and a bike $5. It's still not too late to register and with all funds received for the day going to Eudlo State School you will be helping with a great cause. Registration makes you eligible to win some great prizes.
If you register an entry for the Show, you can arrive and start setting up at 7.00am, but you must be there by 10.00am with the prizes being handed out from 12.00 midday.
The Eudlo Car and Motorcycle Show is the school's main fundraiser for the year and is completely focused on making sure every member of the family can enjoy a day full of fun and entertainment. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed – have you seen what dogs can do to beautiful chrome wheels and shiny tyres?
To make sure you can salivate over the machinery in peace, there's going to be a Kid's Area where a jumping castle, face painting and henna tattoos will only be $2 and other activities such as, the paper plane competition, craft table and ball games are absolutely FREE.
The kids will be kept entertained so you can have some fun too
Have you ever noticed how when you drool a lot you get hungry? No problem! The local Lions Club of Mooloolah is running an unbelievable BBQ. As well as the usual sausages and burgers there is going to be a pig on the spit. It'll be your own fault if you go home hungry!
Backing up the BBQ are stalls selling all types of goodies including, coffee, cake, biscuits, slushies and lollies.
Then, from 11.00am you can kick back at the Bar and listen to some cool tunes. The Sunshine Coast's own three-piece band, Back Alley Cats will be playing their vintage sound with that modern edge as the drinks are being served at the bar.
Now that everything else has been taken care of let's look at making your 'inner petrol-head' happy.
The Eudlo Car and Motorcycle Show is no ordinary Show. There will be a diverse range of cars and motorcycles on display from vintage to highly modified modern cars. Then, as if that wasn't enough, check out the phenomenal display of motorcycles of all different makes and ages.
Don't miss seeing the beautiful 1930 Model A Ford Speedster and the classic 1957 Chevy both done up and looking like the day they came out of the showroom.
But you won't just see classics at this event. This modern supercharged and airbrushed 2010 VE Commodore will be there with its extensive audio set up that will blow your mind (and possibly your eardrums)..
You've seen the old and the very old, now see some modern marvels up close.
In my favourite corner will be motorcycles of all makes and models. There's going to be some beautiful Italian, zippy Japanese, sophisticated German and thumping great American motorcycles. Enough to warm the heart of any oldie, like me, passing through their mid-life crisis.
The support from the local community for their school has been strong with generous sponsorships and prizes for the raffles. So come along and help out by winning these prizes and enjoying the many sights, sounds, tastes and aromas only present at a high-powered car and motorcycle show.
For everybody who enjoys a day out looking at beautiful scenery and vehicular art this would be a great day. However, this is going to be a fantastic day because you will also be able to have the kids fully entertained, be well fed and enjoy some great live music and all with a beautiful Sunshine Coast backdrop.
