Ettamogah Pub lies in the heart of Sydney's West, where it serves as a popular social hub for locals and those who live out in the west.

It's architecture is quite old-fashioned, where you enter through the doors of a double story wooden parlour house, the kind that can be seen in all western movies.

For visitors, a large beer garden entrants many young adults to spend many weekend afternoons and nights relaxing and socialising. Several bars in the pub also serve a delightful array of wines, cocktails, spirits, twelve brands of draught beers, and many other liquors.

The bistro in the pub serves food that is fit for anyone to eat. With a menu of numerous salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, fillets and schnitzels. In other terms, what can be characterised as a Aussie-inspired menu.

It's a perfect time to come down for the Christmas holidays. On weekends, you could bring the family along as Santa will be making a weekend appearance for this upcoming weekend only!

For the kids, there are weekend pony rides through the western backdrop of fake salons, a painted entrance to a colonial pub, and the outline of a fake general store. Old-fashioned props such as a wagon wheel and fake horses give the place that extra Western feel. A play-centre, a jumping castle and face painting sessions will also keep children entertained.

For the mature adults, 80s rock legends Mental As Anything will be performing a string of their biggest hits on Christmas Eve where you can dance and sing to the music for free as a Christmas gift to visitors.

All in all, Ettamogah Pub commits to its country theme, the food is mouth watering, and the social environment stimulates all visitors with numerous bars, gaming arcades, pool tables for the boys, and numerous activities for the kids.

Ettamogah Pub is certainly the place to unwind and dine.

Your Comment
The food at this Woolworths owned pub is shocking and overpriced. Despite what's reported in this article the interior is nothing but a shed. Best to check the impartial reviews on before making a trip to this one ( an average rating of 4.1 out of 10 from 81 reviewers there).
