A retired business owner, my passions are cooking, photography and eating. I use all three of these when I write for which is on HubGarden
Etsy Made Local market will be at the Perth Cultural Centre for another fabulous year this November! Organised by The West Australian Etsy Team, it is a day that can almost be guaranteed will be a tremendous fun day out, with plenty of unusual and enchanting wares to see and buy at these markets.

At these markets, you will find just about anything and with so many stallholders - why not use this market day as part of your Christmas shopping list! Being a sporadic online shopper myself, I think this is a fabulous idea, as it will give many of us the chance to actually see before we buy, which is something I miss when shopping online. Also, it eliminates the need for expensive returns if garments do not fit or are just not what we thought they would be. It is also a good idea, due to the huge amount of stallholders, to take your teenagers to, and let them pick their own presents out!

Etsy Made Local is a national, "community-led initiative celebrating the crafters, collectors and artisans in local communities across the country."

These markets are held all over Australia in capital cities and towns and they will be participating in this one-day event powered by Etsy Teams on November 25, 2017, marking the event's third year. This way, the whole of Australia has an Etsy market on at the same time/day making it quite a unique market as most markets are not organised this way and are not Australia wide.

Being held in 11 locations, Etsy artisans will sell their handmade and vintage goods and supplies to local buyers at these marketplaces and each will be representing the spirit of the local community.

Etsy was founded in 2005 and is now in almost every country in the world. Etsy is normally an online market for handmade and vintage goods, and has over 1 million active shops, and about 60 million unique visitors per month! Etsy is a certified B Corporation which is a new kind of company that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.

The Perth market will be featuring a multitude of stalls from talented WA Etsy sellers, live music, a pop-up bar and a brilliant festive vibe and this is your annual celebration of all things WA handmade.
