Tickets are now on sale for this year's Etnia Latina Festival 2018!

Proudly presented by Etnia Latina, Latin American Association and Brazilian Association and supported for Office of Multicultural Interests WA, this vibrant celebration of Latin culture will take place at Curtin University Stadium Undercroft, Bentley Campus and showcase the diverse traditions, customs, cuisine, folklore and music of Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Paraguay and Salvador!

Now in its fourth year, Etnia Latina was developed to preserve and promote Latin American values, traditions, heritage and stories.

Last year's festival attracted hundreds of eventgoers from all around WA and this year's event is set to be bigger and better with free workshops on Latin American traditional dance, music and crafting.

Held in a family-friendly atmosphere, this one-day only event features 55 artists sharing their artistic skills and celebrating their cultural identity. Presenters include professional instructors from Latin America and Australia such as Bianca Liberona, Martha Ramirez, Simon Frida and Leo Santos at Perth Art Centre, 357 Murray Street.

Plus a spectacular line-up of the best Latin folk and Latin musicians & singers and talented dance groups including Yambeque Orchestra, Danza Loca, Sambrazil, Zumba con Lissette, Etnia Latina and Ancestrais Capoeira. Don't miss the Fantasia Latina Junior and Adults shows either!

It is going to be a great Latin party where everybody is welcome to join in - other highlights include an arts and craft workshop, children's entertainment, including a traditional Latin costume competition, competitions & raffles and mouth-watering and healthy Latin food stalls and food trucks offering traditional dishes and snacks from Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Salvador and Argentina.

All multicultural communities are welcome to attend this event! Get inspired by unique and vibrant experience of Colombian Caribbean carnival performances, dazzling Brazilian dancers wearing feather headdresses, Chilean and Argentine celebrations with ancestral rituals, dance, acrobatics and music expressed in the authentic Capoeira, the energetic dance and aerobic movements performed by Zumba Latina, and Perth's premier Latin band interpreting all the traditional music from the Caribbean Coast of Colombia, Salsa from Cuba, New York Venezuela and Puerto Rico, Merengue and Vallenato.

Delve even deeper into the culture and experience a magical blend of Latin colours and sounds at Etnia Latina Festival. Don't miss this unique multicultural experience!

The Etnia Latina Festival 2018 will take place at Curtin University Undercroft, Bentley Campus on Sunday 21st October 2018 from 11am to 6pm.
