The
Ethical Night Market is all about goods that have been made with ethical values in mind. In its 5th year, their stalls are attended by thousands from across Melbourne. Join them for a night of ethical gifts, food and community at their
Ethical Christmas Night Market on
Tuesday 10 December 2019 from 4-9pm at
One Church, 184 Surrey Rd, Blackburn. Entry is
FREE.
Their aim is to provide you with an alternative Christmas shopping experience, through their ethical goods for sale. With 60 plus stalls of fashion, home decor, accessories, kid's toys, stationery, cosmetics, jewellery and more, you're bound to find something that pleases you amongst fair trade, eco-friendly, homemade and vegan alternative goodies.
Food trucks will be on-site if you need a break from cooking, along with desserts and coffee on hand. Vegan, organic, locally sourced food and social enterprises raising money for a cause are the focus at the best of Melbourne's ethical shopping all in one place. Being an indoor market, rain, hail or shine, it's going to be there for you to enjoy. Please bring adequate cash as not all stallholders have EFTPOS facilities.
The founders of
Theotherstraw will be along with their ethically sourced, organic and reusable bamboo straws and cutlery packs. There's the new kid on the block to look forward to;
Enchanted Little Oak with their fair trade, ethically made and eco-friendly children's toys. You can't go past
for Dignity with their beautiful handcrafted homewares and fashion accessories made by teams in Nepal, India, China, Myanmar, Indonesia and Bangladesh. Half (50%) of the profits go towards the eradication of human trafficking and slavery. Head to the
discussion section to get a look at some of the other stallholders that will be at the Market.
