The is held once a year, so I decided to head down last night after work to look for some unique ethical and handcrafted gifts for family and friends!

Located at the One Church in 184 Surrey Road, Blackburn, not only is it only a 10min walk from Blackburn station, but I found plenty of onsite and street parking. The Modern One church building makes it a great indoor venue, no matter what weather Melbourne is putting on that day! The carpark was lined with food trucks, including "Wok Amazing, "Lemon Pepper" "Jays Yogurt" and "Crepes for Change" who are Australia's first non-profit crepe van!

The atmosphere indoors was buzzing with Christmas cheer, live music and the smell of brewed coffee by "Coffee with a social flavour". It was great to see so many families and people supporting small and local businesses, designers, artists and ethical businesses.

The variety of amazing stallholders sold items ranging from bespoke designer jewellery, soaps & palm oil-free beauty products and vegan wares, to ethical clothing, unique natural hand dyed products & accessories, such as "BeeKeeper Parade" (every backpack they sell goes towards sending a child to English class for a year).

Don't miss out next year's Ethical Christmas market and help support local producers and artists who are striving for a better world! Now off to wrap the presents!
