I'll give you a little background so you understand just how special these chocolates are. Owner Vincenzo is an Italian master chocolatier. Expressing his passion through his wonderful chocolate creations for you to enjoy and share. His love for the sweet things in life began as a chef in Ferrara, Milan and Florence, Italy where he soon developed a great passion for the artful wonders in the pastry sections of the Michelin star restaurants kitchens where he worked. Deciding his future, he began a gruelling six months studying with Italian cake master, Iginio Massari.
For 12 years, he worked in his own cake shop Dolceria Mazzini in Ferrara making bite sized cakes and pastries called mignons and making chocolates during the traditional Italian chocolate eating winter months.
Vincenzo came to Sydney when he placed a bid to cook for the Italian Summer Olympic team, where he met future wife Maria. A trip back to Italy, returning to Australia and eventually opening their own dream Essenze Chocolate shop.
This is one very happy couple doing what they love. Owner, Vincenzo and wife Maria have created a warm and very friendly store where customers love to return time and time again.
Vincenzo's wife Maria has a bubbly personality chatting with customers who return time and again. Often offering you one of their chocolate treats to indulge your taste buds in store while you decide from their 50 elegantly hand made chocolate range. All these little decadent delights are $1.50 each, a small price to pay to make your heart sing with joy.
A 21st Brithday cake where you 'smash the base to expose a selection of decadent chocolates for your guests. $65 for the chocolate cake and add $1 per chocolate to 'hide' in the base.
