Ways of natural healing
In Summary

In Essential Oil Healing Secrets: Remedies for Common Ailments and Skin Problems, ADISH Books states that the production of essential oils is expensive as it takes pounds of plant material to produce a relatively small amount of oil. So, some companies have found it more profitable to dilute essential oil with synthetics that smell similar. The simplest way to tell if an oil is a pure essential oil is if it has an ingredient list or at least says 100% essential or something of that nature on the label.

essential oils, aromatherapy

Essential oils can be purchased at health food stores, upscale grocery stores, food co-ops, herb shops, such as GNC, Walmart, Hobby Lobby and online such as with eBay or Amazon. It is not clearly known how essential oils heal. It is believed that oils affect the sensory organs, such as our nose, to heal.

The rest of the book features total essential oil recipes for the treatment of wrinkles, body odour, brittle nails, arthritis, cold/flu, stress relief ... The list goes on and on. Those are just a glimpse of the benefits of essential oils.

In Opinion

The book was extremely easy to follow. I, personally, liked everything about it. Everything was explained in bold type with simple terms and simple recipes to follow. I think for some things, I would rather follow an essential oil recipe than take an over-the-counter medicine. Right now, I have an office-sized diffuser but plan to buy a bigger diffuser in the future. I like rose essential oil in the diffuser when going to bed as it takes all of the day's stress away.

As for the recipes in the ADISH Books book, I trust them completely.

I give this book a 5-star rating!
