Where do I begin? First of all, I absolutely adore this cafe. I see it as a diamond in the rough, nestled within the Noranda Palms shopping centre. I never expected to stumble upon a cafe that is both modern, edgy, and serves impeccable food and beverages.

On my last venture out for a coffee catch up, I took my friend to Esprezzo and ordered a chicken and leek pastry pie (to share), along with a cappuccino for myself and an iced mocha for my friend. This is a pay-at-the-counter establishment, which I tend to enjoy as it takes the time pressure off of needing to jump up and pay after a meal.

The drinks arrived first, with our scrumptious pie following shortly after. Now, I am definitely a sucker for food that is of a high quality, and that is also served at the perfect eating temperature. Too many times I have been to cafes and restaurants where food is either lukewarm, ice cold or burning hot, all of which generate palpable rage on my behalf.

I was delighted to find that this pastry pie was perfectly cooked, heated and served, and my friend and I wasted no time tucking into our afternoon snack. The pastry itself was delicious, and the creamy chicken and leek filling was absolutely divine.

My cappuccino was made perfectly, which is also a big thing that I look for in a cafe. Yet again I was blown away by the quality that this quirky little cafe had produced on both the food and beverage front, and my friend was also shocked that she had not been to this cafe before.

I will continue to host my coffee catch ups at this quaint little establishment and would definitely recommend that others give it a go too!
