White sand and azure waters - here in Australia
The pictures tell it all, but before you see why, a few quick facts. Esperance is a 9 hour drive from Perth (or we meandered through Maragret River then Denmark). You can, of course fly. You will need to hire a car, to get yourself out to the National Park.
1. If you can't get to Senegal, Esperance has a pink lake. It's a salt lake and the dunalella salina algae changes colour, depending on the light.
2. The town beach is amazingly beautiful and when we went, we were the only people there!
3. Twilight Beach, also near town, is more popular but incredible. The sand is white and the water the most amazing colour, and clear as clear can be.

4. Drive the 50 odd kms through the Cape Le Grand National Park to get to Lucky Bay, voted once the most beautiful beach in Australia.

5.The secret however, is that Hellfire Bay is infact the most beautiful beach in all of Australia (in my opinion, of course). Again, where we were there, it was almost deserted. And those are the best beaches in the world.
