Brisbane's Best Escape Rooms
Brisbane I have a very special announcement - we have another escape room! It is exciting stuff I know, but what is even more thrilling is that I think it is the best on yet AND as someone who has now done 10 of these fabulous life-size puzzles, I think I have the ability to make this claim.

The new venue is called Escape Manor and is situated on Edward Street in Brisbane city, so it is in the perfect location for an after work date or team building activity. This new brand of escape rooms has come to us directly from Canada, where it is already a massive hit!

In the waiting room there are lots of mini-puzzles to entertain you.

For those of us unfamiliar with escape rooms, it is important you understand that when arriving at one of these venues (which are popping up like Starbucks franchises), you are locked into a room with some people of your choosing and have to solve clues to find your way out. These clues are often tucked away in location tough to find and sometimes are just simply so obvious that you will definitely miss them.

But as I said before... there is something special about the two Escape Manor rooms on offer to puzzle seekers. Both were absolutely fantastic!

The waiting room was honestly so beautiful. Perfect for later when they are licensed.

The first room we tried out was The Asylum. Before entering we received a little bit of background information about this spooky abandoned building. Excitedly we walked through the doors and were locked in there with the ghost of a mad scientist determined to stop us from exiting. I can't give you much more information that other than we worked with two lovely tourists to solve a series of clues and yes - we did escape!

The rooms are top secret - so here is another waiting room pic.

A week later we returned (I really love these rooms - can you tell?) to try out The Covenant. Apparently, a while ago, we made a deal with a man who turned our lives upside down; giving us riches, success and fame. However, over time, our lives began to spiral out of control and we became rather empty. Upon returning to this mystery man's lair the name on the door indicates exactly who we made this ridiculous deal with... and now we must find the paper we signed somewhere in his office and get out without lives. All in 45 minutes.

These are some props from inside The Covenant.

This was by the far the most incredible of 10 rooms I have escaped from. The clues were perfectly hidden and allowed us to activate the many parts of our brain. The room always was decorated perfectly with no detail left out. There is no other way to describe what we saw at the end of this challenge - it blew us away!

Sneaky winners shot!

I almost want to tell you to do other escape rooms first because I worry that if your first attempt to undertake one of these challenges is at Escape Manor you will only ever be disappointed by the many other options out there... it really is something special. Lucky for us Brisbanenites though - Escape manor already has two other rooms in the process of being made AND there are even more to come. We are hoping to head back before the end of the year to try our skill out once more in either The Gallery or The Wine Cellar.

There are so many great rooms coming too!

So when you are ready, grab your friends, partner, family or work mates and give these adventures a go. Can you escape?
