Do you have what it takes to crack the code?

Help solve the mystery at Melbourne's very own Escape Hunt attraction.

The Escape Room franchise is one of the largest in the world! Open from 10am until 10pm, 7 days a week, this live-action adventure game experience is an exciting new concept and is ideal for all ages. It's fast, addictive and a whole lot of fun!

At Escape Hunt Melbourne, friends, families, online gamers, live pros, tourists and work groups are invited to choose one of four fully immersive and interactive adventures.

In a team of up to five individuals, players must work together to find the clues and solve the challenging puzzles and riddles before time runs out!

Escape Hunt also offers duplicate rooms, allowing other teams to go head to head, which brings the Escape Room experience to a whole new level!

Players can currently choose from 4 intriguing Escape Room mysteries:

  • Law & Disorder 1 & 2: You are undercover detectives investigating the disappearance and possible murder of your partner! After infiltrating a famous gangster's bootlegging establishment, you must gather evidence to create a case against him. Can you convict this crime boss and escape before it's too late? Duplicate room option available.

  • Machinarium: It's 1945 in Manhattan, New York. A foundry owner, linked to the Manhattan Project and the USSR regarding nuclear weaponry, is found dead in his basement with a strange machine. As the CIA's newest agents, you must investigate the machine and secure it before a disaster occurs!

  • Odditorium: Oliver is a well-loved curator at a small museum who has recently begun acting strangely. His family learns that each year a museum employee disappears mysteriously soon after displaying similar behaviour. They hire you and your friends, well-known private detectives, to help them solve the mystery before Oliver disappears!

  • Zodiac Heist

Beat the Zodiac Thief at their own game before they strike again. A thief has been breaking into vaults across Melbourne. Due to the letters and cryptograms they leave at the crime scene, he or she has been dubbed the Zodiac Thief.

As detectives you follow the clues to an abandoned mine. However, as you descend the mine shaft the lift shuts down. Can you beat the Zodiac Thief at their own game or will the thief strike again?

The games last around sixty minutes and are suitable for two to five players per room (or up to thirty for large groups).

Bookings are made in 90-minute sessions and once the game is completed, players can have a group photo taken in the Photo Booth and enjoy complimentary tea and biscuits in the spacious lounge.

Escape Hunt is ideal for birthdays and special events, as well as corporate functions.

The venue is conveniently located in Melbourne City and open every day. Choose from 8 sessions daily.

Bookings are essential: to make a reservation, please visit and select your desired session time and adventure.

The more players, the cheaper the fee - currently if you have a group of 5 players, it will cost $34 each!

It sounds so much fun. I would love to try it out with my 7 y-o-son, he always loves to play a detective.
