Eroni's offers a charm of its own – good old-fashioned circus fare minus the lion tamers. (But does anyone do this these days?) Instead, Eroni offers performing dogs, horses and ponies, which do the job of delighting just as well.
Best acts Commendable acts include a unique lasso twirling cowgirl and a lady that can spin what looked like two dozen hula hoops with her body. The acrobatic performances are not your most death-defying but there are some heart-skipping moments (there is no net).
Every act features different costumes and music making it a rollercoaster ride of Spanish, Western and Can-Can flavours.
Eroni's makes a good weekend out if you don't want to go far. The locals seemed to think so too, braving the rain and mud to see what the Big Top had to offer. I think children seven and above would probably get the most fun out of the show but I guess it's no harm bringing the littler ones along.
Tickets are $15 per person and there are a couple of game booths and rides outside the main tent. You can get tickets at the door one hour before show time (7.30pm on Wednesday to Sunday plus 2.00pm shows on the weekend.)
