Ergothioneine for Older Adults with Memory Complaints

CSIRO is looking for volunteers to participate in a study assessing the impact of 'Ergothioneine', a compound found in mushrooms, on measures of brain health and other outcomes.

The aim of this research study is to determine if daily consumption of Ergothioneine results in improvements in measures of memory, brain function, mood and sleep quality. This study is called the 'Ergothioneine and Cognitive Ageing' Study.

We would like to hear from you if you are:

  • Aged between 55 -79 years old

  • Noticing memory loss

  • Able to attend four sessions at the CSIRO clinic located at SAHMRI on North Terrace, Adelaide.
