Do you have a love of horses and an interest in everything equine? Or perhaps you want to learn more about these noble beasts?

EQUITANA is on again from the 10th until the 13th November 2011 at The Sydney Showground. Featuring horses, Olympic gold medallists, world renowned educators, Aussie cowboys, an elite equine competition program and over 350 exhibitors, this is sure to be largest equine shopping spree and horsemanship display in Australia.

On exhibition will be all of the newest and best equine related products with presentations, demonstrations and clinics, by both Australian and international presenters.

Boasting two elite competition arenas, a dedicated Horse Health Pavilion, a range of large demonstration arenas and a purpose built indoor arena with seating for over 5,000 people this venue is second to none for this event.

A special highlight is sure to be the Australian Horsemanship Challenge where three of Australia's leading horse trainers will demonstrate their highly personal and specialised methods of connecting with an unbroken horse. After choosing their young unstarted horse, the three trainers will work under the watchful eyes of the audience, giving the public a unique opportunity to see the experts at work.

After developing the trust of their horse, each trainer will put their horse through a series of tasks to demonstrate the training to the crowd and judges. The winner will be selected by a panel of expert equestrians.

The Twine , from Australia's Got Talent, will be performing their unique foot-tapping blend of storytelling through song, using a quirky combination of instruments such as the didgeridoo, the flute and percussion drums. Their show is a fun filled interactive family show that is sure to be a favourite amongst visitors to the event.

Other entertainment filling the program for the 4 days and nights will include games of Polocrosse, Horseball and the military precision of Mounted Police demonstrations as well as the grace of Dressage, Jumping and the Arabian Horse Showcase and the showmanship of the Trick Riding.
