I couldn't write a review about a more fantastic op shop.
The epilepsy 'blue' op shop sells furniture, appliances, books, toys, bric-a-brac, clothes, board games, hats and more. The are incredibly affordable and have lovely staff members.
The first time my mum and I went we got a fan for $5. It was a full functioning fan and the lady even let us test it out in the store room. For only five dollars, it was excellent value.
They usually have lots of great deals such as all books are 50 cents, or $2 bag of stuffed toys. $2 clothes on a certain rack, its all so cheap and great to look at.
There are a few Epilepsy op shops in Victoria, locations are
%%Kew East
Cranbourne
Blackburn
Parkdale%%
You can hand in donations to the , and it feels great to do so because you're helping a great foundation. All the money they earn goes to epilepsy research in hope to find a cure for this condition.
My younger brother recently cleaned out his bedroom and got rid of three big bags of stuff he didn't need anymore, such as his old Lego, Yu-gi-oh cards, few baseball caps, Harry Potter figurines and other stuff. He wrote on the bag ' Donations' and wanted my mum to take it to the shop. He has a friend in his class who suffers from epilepsy, so it was quite touching for him to do that.
The shop is very well maintained, I have only been to the Cranbourne and Parkdale one, but I'm sure they are all the same.
I recommend going to the if you need to donate some second hand goods or just like to thrift shop. The prices are super cheap and we are getting rid of lots of junk at the moment, so and we are sending donations all over the place, and the is one of them.
Support your local community and shop there today.
