Construct a Sky-High Temporary City
Do you love your beautiful city of Sydney? Well why not get involved and have a play in the new creative playground, the Cutaway at Barangaroo Reserve.

Commencing on the 8 January, the Cutaway will be home to one of the largest community participation events presented in the Sydney Festival. The design theme will be Olivier Grossetête's fantastically epic The Ephemeral City.

Anyone can participate in this extravaganza event, all you need is a free spirit and will to create. Your tools of trade will be boxes and tape to construct a temporary city. No matter how big or small, your contribution will be part of building a city masterpiece.

This event will cover a couple of weeks, with the monster demolition date set for the 26 January 2016, 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

This will be fun for adults and children. There will also be free BOXWARS' creative workshops to unleash the kids imaginations.

It won't only be about building, if you prefer an adrenaline rush, then zip between the cardboard city in the free Flying Fox.

If you prefer to watch then you check out Shaun Gladwell's newest video work, Skateboarders vs Minimalism, projected across the Cutaway's western wall.
